I've got an Asetek waterchill system running completely internally in my Lian Li PC7, has been up and running for a few months now, but so far it's been sitting under the same desk without much movement.

I know it's good practice to drain and refill systems when making a (semi-)permenant move of your system, for safety reasons, but I don't feel confident moving this system at all, even around the house, the reason being the push-fittings.

Because there's so little force involved in connecting them, part of me thinks that during transport they could pop out at any time, ruining the PC. I don't want to have to drain and refill for every move, especially since I want to visit some LAN events this year and don't have a res or fillport (T-line atm), so I'd like to know:

How secure are these connections?
Is there any sound way of making them a firmer connection? PTFE tape? Glue?
Would it be worth me upgrading all the connections to half inch barbs with jubilee clips?

Cheers,

When I was using this type of kit I never had a single leak out of the push fit fittings, though I did have a leak from the thread between the block and fitting that just needed a spanner taken to it.

I found they were very secure when pulling on them.
