Pc suddenly started making a gurgeling noise .Oh HO .

so i open my case side panel to see blue water filling the bottom of the case and no water in the reservoir. So couple of hours later i have un assembled my entire pc and cleaned the case and its time to find the fault .

seams that what ever sealant asetek have used to fix the plexiglass reservoir cylinder to the plastic reservoir base has corroded away. resulting in the leak .Been running it for about 2 years . so thought i would post here as a waring to anyone running same system . Check your res lol .

now i have a nice blue carpet that glows !

That's interesting to know. I just bought the hard drive kit from the clearance section, which has this plexiglass reservoir. Must remember to check that periodically, or replace it at some point.

How about removing it and using a T-line!!!

Or if you have one past and present boil a kettel of water, stick res in there to weake the glue, rempove it all, clean up. use some epoxy and sand paper to fix it. Sand the surfaces to be bonded so they are rough this will allow better epoxy contact and adesion. Leave for 24 hours job done

Use stuff form local model shop not alradite or uhu as it's wack and ainjt proper stuff

Devo-con, west system, jb weld, etc all are epoxy'ies threough and through

not sure what caused the sealent to corrode , was using water wetter , blue uv dye ,possibly this helped it to fail ?
