Ashampoo Firewall

Hi there,

I am the using free version of Ashampoo Firewall but i have a problem.

It seems to be stopping me from getting to secure servers on *** internet: https:// servers.

How do i fix this?

Well can anyone suggest another firewall, free or not, that i won't have this problem with and uses as little resources as possible.

I need to control outgoing so i can't use windows inbuilt.

Comodo firewall... free and better than ZA http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/

If you can get it somewhere (because its now no longer updated or supported) get Sygate Personal Firewall Pro.

Uses VERY little resources, works with everything and seems to work very well.

I know a lot of people still use it and swear by it. I do and I have never had trouble with secure websites etc

Well I have installed it but i dont kno what alert level to set it at.

I want to be alerted when a program is accessing the internet and on what port either incoming or outgoing? Like ashampoo's alert settings.

What level is that?
