The client won't cost anything but it's $15 per month to play from what I've read. 4 hours into the kickstarter and it's already 2/3 funded to its 750k goal.

Don't know anything about this game but I feel for the stream failures.

It happens so often I start to wonder if twitch is the problem haha! 30 minute delay whilst they sort it out.

Edit: Fully funded in less than 12 hours! :)

Now up to 1.25m and a couple of the stretch goals reached (thankfully these aren't scope creep but rather enhancements to existing features).

Monster coin system video in pre-alpha state below starts at 31:45:

Hmmm… could have potential. Doubt I'd ever pledge because I wouldn't have time to play it with the other game I play regularly & wouldn't value spending the $15 pcm. That said, if it was on Fig I'd probably consider investing but won't pledge for the reasons I've said. But yeah, could go places so definitely one to watch.

This game looks incredibly promising, the issue is I feel like they're promising too much.

If it delivers i'll 1000% buy it on release day.

But i'm tentative now when it comes to any game these days especially another MMO.

Assume that's related to the referral system? Not from what I understand, it tapers down if the subsequent person refers which is the opposite effect of such schemes.

I'm not overly keen on it but like with any of these projects, if wary stay away until release.

Completely agree , It's easy to put together a few minutes visual tech demos, but showing it actually being played with a group is a whole different ball game.
The games concept is very good though.

I feel that Pantheon Rise of the fallen which may not look visually as nice at it's current stage, Is more realistic in something actually materializing in the next 12 months.

Similar situation to Elite Dangerous Vs Star Citizen IMO at KS.

To an extent I agree, hopefully as development ramps up more will be revealed, however, Pantheon had a failed kickstarter back in 2014 so it's at least 3 years of development ahead of Ashes so not exactly a fair comparison. There are a slew of Kickstarter based MMOs coming out in the next 2 years (Chronicles of Elyria, Crowfall, Camelot Unchained, Pantheon etc.), it will be interesting to see which of those are successful if any.
