Asics Running Shoes?

My current shoes are Asics GT 2080, but they don't make them any more. I have had them for almost 6 years and they are completely knackered

I have had a look online and these seem the closest direct replacement. Any runners here who can confirm they are a similar shoe?

I don't need anything as stiff as the Kayano. I bought a pair once and they were like running with wooden boards under my feet, horrible.

I have 2130's and they are really good, probably the best shoes ive had.

Why dont you go along to a running shop where they do the gait analysis they advise you on the best pair for your running technique and gait? The gait analysis is typically free if you are buying a pair of trainers the same day so you cant go wrong, decent pair of runners specifically for your feet

got mine asics for £70 with a gait analysis.

Just type 'up and running' into google

There's a Runners Need in Canary Wharf where I work, I'll give them a shout!

They do gait analysis as well, should be good. I've never had that done before.

I had been running for quite a few years just on the old nike's...had ankle problems first advise I got was go for a gait analysis and get a 'proper' running shoe.

needless to say I have had no issues since
