Having just got my 360 a couple of weeks ago there is one thing that has concerned me since the word go. Exiting from games to get back to the browser thing seems to be a bit poorly thought out i.e you have to either swithch the console off and remove the disk when you turn it back on or just remove the disk when its running, both of which seem a bit daft.

Am I missing out on something very obvious here or is that just the way of it?
I realise I may be about to be made look stupid here but I want to know.

press the guide button (big silver thing with an X on it ;)) and the dash menu will pp up on the left.

Press Y to return to the dash :D

When I first got my 360 I didn't realise you could turn the 360 on just using the power button on the controller :o

and off as well, great for the lazy ones among us, now i just need them to impliment a systme to open up the tray and insert a disc from my games rack without me having to leave my seat :D

There's also an option in settings which boots straight into the dashboard even if there's a game in the drive

If its not an autosave game, make sure you have saved before doing this.
