A month ago I installed Gigabytes software EasyTune, after installing it rebooted my PC except it didn't boot. Fans spin, GPU lights up, keyboard leds on but monitor reads "no display".

I removed all hard drives, reset CMOS battery, tried multiple 1 stick of ram in all slots, tried a different display port cable, confirmed monitor works using my phone.

So I bought a new motherboard, exactly same board, still no post. Bought same model CPU, still no post. Tested it outside of the case, no post.

Bought another GPU, still no post.

This GPU the white led near the 8 pin power rail lights up but there is two leds and only one is on? Could this be trying to signal something like bad power delivery? Is it worth buying a new PSU?

Please help me (or kill me)

Have you tried turning it on with just the CPU and ram to If it will post? Have you tested your RAM? Tried one chip of ram on its own and then the other on its own?

Tried that, no way to test RAM
Does the board have any kind of debug lights / beeps etc?
No lights or beeps
I would try another psu
Just bought a Cosair RM850x and still no display.

So I've basically built a whole new freaking pc except for the RAM haha ugh

Assuming only one monitor try a TV via HDMI. Does the CPU have integrated graphics? I guess not.
Tried it on another monitor still no signal.
Did you test/build outside of the case to see if there's a short?
Tried that on two different motherboards.

I notice with my keyboard plugged in the cap lock and scroll lock leds are on maybe that's an error code or maybe just the mobo supplying usb power whilst off.

I dunno what to do, hate to spend more money on RAM and it still not work. Really thought it was the GPU then the PSU.

Why would all 4 RAM sticks suddenly die after a Windows 11 restart. Maybe both CPUs are dead

Hope you can return those items.

i understand your frustration, nothing worse than fault finding by replacing with new items yet no result.

You in deep now so might as well get a cheap one stick, assuming all power cables to motherboard and gpu is connected.

So if you tried nearly everything what about the CPU have you had that tested ?

What is it ?

I'll sell them on.
Yeah not seen anything like this before haha.
I've ordered a cheap 4GB £5 stick of RAM should be here Monday. If it's the RAM that's mad typical the last thing I try.

I have tried two different CPUs and one of them was tested working.

So the only thing left to try is the RAM which means EasyTune wiped out all 4 of ram sticks if that's even possible for software to do that.

What is the exact spec of your PC?

I have not used the EasyTune software, does it just alter settings in Windows or Bios?

If it is in Windows, would a clean install fix it? (if you can get it to boot from USB)

Gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3
AMD FX 8350
1070 GTX
16GB HyperFusion RAM

I haven't used it either I installed it, it prompted a restart and I got no signal.

I can't even get into bios just black screen. Power on forces the monitor out of standby but then it reads No signal... going into standby.

Yep tried that too and that guy says he attempted to OC but I only installed the software, didn't even get chance to use it. I've also read about Windows 11 killing RAM with restarts and that RAM model being blacklisted by the motherboard.

Holy s*** it WAS the damn ram! How the hell does 4 sticks of ram get wiped out at the exact same time.

Seeing my PC boot after 5 weeks is like seeing an old friend in a long time wow I missed it.

I have ordered 2 8gb ram sticks to replace this cheapy 4gb, do you think it could happen again? I do have a new PSU so hopefully it was a power surge not some circuit error on the mobo.

It did happen as soon as I rebooted after installing that easytune (I've now uninstalled it) but maybe the PSU had a surge when I restarted and that killed ram.

Now got a pile of components to sell xD
