I'm looking for some decent quality, reasonably priced jeans and I'm just wondering if anybody has any experience of ASOS own brand jeans?

I'm also open to other ideas for places to get reasonably priced slim fit (not skinny!) or tapered jeans from.

I work there.

They used to be a bit poor but they have got much better recently. Not a bad purchase. Same goes for their chinos. :)

Edit: Also it depends on what you think is 'good value'. Some people may not want to pay over £50 for a pair of jeans whereas others wouldn't bat an eyelid at £150 Edwin jeans. Each to their own!

Do take a look at the clearance section. You might find some branded jeans for a similar price.

I'm wearing a pair right now. They're actually my least favourite jeans I own to look at (vs Fenchurch, Fly53, Crosshatch, Bench, Levis, Kangol) but they are the most comfortable to wear.

I think they were somewhere around £15 in a sale. Much better than Tesco/Asda/Primark/etc for that sort of money. I've had them about six months so can't really comment on longevity.

They are alright but occasionally look completely different to on the website... I have a couple of pairs :)

I have a few pair of different brands, Diesel, DKNY, Levi's, GAP, Primark, Animal, G-Star Raw, Ted Baker, and one pair of ASOS. What I look out for is the cotton content, make sure it is 100% and you'll be surprise some cheaper ones are not! I buy jeans for cut, fit, colour and style rather than label and stick to the 100% cotton thing. I find them to wear pretty evenly but the best one to me are Diesel, their cotton (the way it is weaved together) is nicer than the rest.

I've got 2 pairs of ASOS jeans, they actually fit really well and they're pretty decent quality. Think I paid £30-ish a pair.

I used to be a Levi's only guy, but I got fed up of paying £70-80 for a pair of jeans.

All in all decent jeans for the money.

H+M somehow fit me and look decent even though they're a scandinavian company, and the smallest leg size is 34". They do smaller incremental waist sizes as well and last for AGES.

Best jeans I have are Levis and Jack Jones. All next/burton/river island crap seem to fade and wear out very quickly thus cancelling out the cheap initial cost!

Yeah ~£20-40. I'm sick of spending £80+ on jeans that barely last any longer Primark ones; it's just a pity that Primark don't have a huge choice of styles.

They have launched a wider selection for men recently, straight and skinny fit along with arc leg, cuff, worker, combat and a couple of other fits.
