After weeks of waitingr payday, my new video card has arrived. Unfortunately it won't POST when I install it
I was previously using the card in my sig, and what's what I'm using right now. When I swap the cards around, i don't get a post, and the monitor doesn't make that little "clicking" sound when a CRT is turning on.
Anyone have any ideas? I've set the primary display adaptor in the BIOS to PCI-E and i've upgraded the BIOS to the newest version (2.2) and aparently Asrock made a fix to be able to use the 3850/3870...I really wanna see this rig fly, but I just can't figure it out. I haven't forgotten to plug in the PCI-E power cable either....also - I tried both DVI jacks.
