asrock 775Dual-880Pro

If i was to buy the motherboard in the title. Would i be able to run this pair of ram 1gb OCZ EL DDR PC-4000, ram timings of 2.5,4,4,7 With a conroe cpu? The board says it supports DDR & DDR2 but not sure if it will let me run a conroe, if anyone could clear that up it would be nice

You are aware the 775Dual-880 Pro is not the same as the 775Dual-VSTA and doesn't (officially) support Core 2 Duo, yes?

That is fine, you got the right one, the 775Dual-880 Pro is named after that VIA PT880 Pro chipset but it is an earlier board, the 775Dual-VSTA is the newer one which supports Core 2 Duo.

DDR can be used with Core 2 Duo CPUs as you can see from this article:

Couldn't tell you whether your specific RAM will work in that motherboard though but I don't see why not.
