asrock 939 dual sata2 and high density memory problems

Hello folks,

I bought cheap high density memory 2x1GB micron chips and the mobo only see 256mb per stick :confused:

I am using bios 1.8

I wonder if the memory is faulty or maybe the mobo is not compatible?

If you using HD memory please let me know about your bios and any tips for their installation.

I wonder if I have to flash the bios with the HD stick in the mobo so the asrock will read the sticks properly????

I also have memtest errors with only 1 stick and 1T :mad:

are you sure about that?

the seller says clearly the memory is compatible with ULI chipsets like my mobo and one user of this mobo told me he use HD memory in it :confused:
