I thought I'd start a new thread since technically it's not quite the same mobo ;)

Anyways, I'm trying to install Windows XP on a blank drive and I keep getting errors saying it failed to copy files across...it can do everything else ok, it's just writing to the discs it keeps having problems with.

After a while of being able to retry it either gets to a file it just won't copy or it blue screens.

Rather annoyed :(

Any thoughts?

Cheers,

Paul.

Since no-one replied....found I may have to set the voltage to Ultra High (why doesn't it just list voltages  ) as the Ballistix is 2.8V so maybe that's it....who knows.

Is it a home made slipstreamed XP or original disk ?

Original disc. I'm hoping the voltage thing is problem...reading one review of the board, the reviewer said he had to set his voltage to 'Ultra High' to get his memory stable. Be far easier if the BIOS just listed voltages like most Award BIOSes do.
