Hi all,
Just a quick one really, a mate of mine has upgraded his computer to an Intel core 2 Duo (e6600) and 4GB of PC-2 5300 ram and an 8 series card,
he told me that when using vista x64, vista only shows 3198Mb of ram instead of 4GB, I'm thinking it could have something to do with his motherboard not supporting 4GB properly, he is using a "asrock conroeXfire-esata2 with the intel 945p chipset"...
Or it could just be vista but he is on 64bit though, any thoughts guys? I no from the last gen of boards that supported 4GB max some people had this sort of problem under XP could this be the same.
thanks for any assistance
