My motherboard will not post properly past 299. I'm using an E6300 so I know it's not that. When I go past 299 I turn the system on but the screen doesn't come out of standby. However if I push reboot the system eventuallys turns off again and then if I turn it on it will load to windows desktop. I have managed to dual prime at 320.

I just don't want to have to go through that procedure to turn the damn PC on.

I know this motherboard is failry limited it'll only go up to 350 FSB anyway but is 299 the motherboard limit? Do I need a Chipset volt mod?

It won't post over 299 FSB due to the lack of a PCI/PCIe lock. This is the one and only drawback with that board. None of the ASRock Core2Duo boards will post over 300FSB unfortunately.

Never mind. It's still a very fast motherboard.
