Asrock DeskMini X300

Does anyone know / have an idea if the new 5600G / 5700G APU's will work with the Asrock DeskMini X300.

Looking on Asrock's site, doesn't look like any BIOS to support them has been released so far

I've now got one running with a 5700G.

However my X300 is very recent and it didn't come with the latest BIOS you need to run a 5xxxG device. You will need to source another APU to flash the BIOS

It's a Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 chromax.black. Bit fiddly to put on - you need three hands. Looks good with everything being black

You can actually fit the wraith stealth cooler if you remove the shroud.

I think I’d always go Noctua when option is available.
