asrock duel sata mobo + A64 3200 venice

I really want to try and give my processor a small overclock really for the fun of it. I heard that I could try overlclocking the processor by slightly raising the cpu frequency. Is this correct and is there another way I could try a small overclock? The motherboard I have is the asrock duel sata and I have a athlon 64 3200 venice processor.

ok, I decided to try out overclocking anyway. I managed to push the processor 2.4GHz. I am sure I could continue to raise that speed but I don't think I am brave enough!
