ASRock Ex4 Gen3 not seeing SSD on reboot

Hi,

When I boot my PC from cold, it starts every time. Occasionally when I have to do a reboot (or Windows installs some updates and reboots itself), my screen will stop at the post screen for a couple of minutes and then complain there is no boot drive. If I enter the UEFI and browse to the disks section, I can see that my SSD on the primary interface has gone missing. If I turn the PC off then on the drive mysteriously reappears and everything is fine again.

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? Kit specs in my sig.

Thanks

No problems here with my C300 mate.

Couple of things to try:
A)- Ensure using Intel grey sockets
B)- Switch off that Power management thing in bios just under the hard drive settings - think its called Intel smart something or the other (its power related stuff)

No problems with the same motherboard and SSD combo. Silly suggestion but have you tried another SATA cable to check that?

What BIOS version are you running on the motherboard? I'm not aware of any issues but you could try to upgrade to 1.10.
