Hey guys so I've got a small rig going on with a 3570 and one of my 290s only problem is I can't get my motherboard to detect my gpu. It's displaying no signal through hdmi or display port. All bios settings seem to be set correctly. Pcie is set a primary etc just no luck? I know this card works because it's fresh out of my main rig. Also bios version is up to date. Connected to psu correctly which is a cx750m and the fans spin up. It's a gen 3 PCIE mobo and the i5 3570 apparently supports gen 3 also so what gives?

And without the card fitted you get an image if you connect the monitor directly to the board?

Yes that's correct through the onboard vga I get a signal just not through te graphics card itself. Also it's a asrock not a gigabyte my bad! And a r2.0 version of the board if that helps

Ha to be the board not being able to "see" the card as it out dates it.

Thats all I can think it can be, maybe just maybe there might be some beta BIOS floating around.

Ah I see, so the h61m Dgs r2.0 have any bios's? The only one I've been able to find is the one on the asrock website? Seems strange that there's only one update for this board the standard H61m Dgs none r2.0 version has a bios update for "graphics card compatability" but I'm not sure if there cross compatible

Unless there's one on some specific ASrock forum or Tweaktown forum I have no idea.
