I have just bought a second hand computer off eBay, which has an ASRock H81M-HDS motherboard, and Intel Pentium G3220 3.0Ghz, 4Gb RAM.
It had Windows 10 on it, but I've done a clean install of Windows 8.1.
The speed is sufficient for my needs (e-mail, browsing, Excel, Word,).
My previous computer supported multiple displays (I had 2 monitors).
The computer I have just bought has 1 x dvi, 1 x hdmi, 1 x vga (all integrated).
I have plugged both monitors into the new computer but they both show the same view.
There is no option in "screen resolution" to select multpiple displays.
MY QUESTION IS:~ does my motherboard & processor combination support multiple displays?
If the answer is no, then could I uy a graphics card with 2 outputs, and run 3 monitors? (2 off separate graphics card, plus 1 off the integrated graphics)?
Thanks in advance.
