Hey Guys, im making a very budget build. I Have an ASRock M3A770DE motherboard with an AMD Phenom 2 x4 processor,

I have a 600w PSU similar to OcUK Swift 500W V2 Silent Power Supply with the
20+4 connector and a 4 pin cpu connector. How ever i cant seem to get power through it.

The motherboard says it supports 20 and 24 pin connection, and 4 and 8 cpu connection. Ive tried as many ways to plug it as i can, but i just cant seem to get it to work.

does anyone have any suggestions?

Im also not sure if it is the case power button connection.

If anyone has any ideas even if it has nothing to do with what ive said then please reply,

thanks.

You can test the PSU by shorting pins 13 & 14 on the ATX connector, count these pins without the extra 4 pin connected (20 pin) have a fan connected to one of the molex connectors to give the PSU some load, switch on PSU and it should start and the fan should run.
