Asrock mobos on site now

The 939 dual seems ok for £45. Certainly a decent budget choice.

i use the asrock boards all the time for budget builds for people not wanting to game, i think its cool i can get them from here now instead of using the dreaded bay!

Good low cost boards, but I think OCUK have missed the boat tbh.

We all had to buy elsewhere when the demand was high, cos they weren't deemed good enough to sell.

Nice to see they've relented though. :)

Indeed, I had to order my Asrock board elsewhere but got the rest of my upgrade from OcUK.
I found it to be a good quality board.

Not necessarily ......as two of them support AM2 using an adapter :)

(assuming OcUK eventually stock the adapter :( )

I don't see an Asrock i865 board on the website? Where??
And why would anyone want an old AGP board for a Conroe anyway???

The main one people wanted a few months back was the 939 Dual Sata2, which OCUK wouldn't get in stock, meaning we all went elsewhere.

So yes, they definately 'missed the boat' on that one, as there was a large market for the board. :)

Because for people with agp and ddr1, it's a good route to take.

Your upgrade is as it "should" be, new mb + cpu.

Whereas going the ddr2 route means MB+CPU+RAM+GFX possibly a new psu/pci-e power converter.

Not everyone is looking to spend that kind of money.

Just my opinion

I can heartily recommend the 939SLI Esata 2, solid as a rock and not bad for overclocking (voltages only go up to 1.45 volts but you can volt mod the board with some conductive paint)
