ASRock P4M890 Mobo + memory combination

had to rebuild a friends PC using this motherboard however she is getting freezing and blips when recording audio from her dj setup. My theory is the memory that is in there. Does anyone know of any good memory that will work with this mobo that is verified. I think there is Corsair ValueSelect 2 x 256mb DDR 400 in there now from what I remember. This may be approrpiate in which case it could be something else.

have a look at the manual they usually list compatible/recommended memory.

could it just be the system is too slow to record fluid from the audio ?

any chance you could list the rest of the system spec.

It's more than likely it could be low spec but I only replaced the motherboard not anything else and it worked fine before then.

Its a Celery 1.8ghz processor, 512mb Ram, 40gb HDD


Think I need to up the processor. Need to find someone who is selling a decent P4 2.8ghz + chip
