After putting my recent build together I found that the only sound I can get through my speakers is a constant high pitched squeak, it begins when I first boot the computer up but can only be heard when I turn the speakers up to close to their max volume.

I've tried every variation of drivers and settings I can think of but before I think about RMA'ing this board I was wondering if anyone could throw some fresh light on my problem.

All in correct ports (which show up in the Realtek HD Audio Manager) and plugged in correctly, the "squeak" even becomes a touch louder when windows loads which I presume is due to the drivers kicking in.

And when you look at the playback devices in the volume control, its got the right device ticked?

Yep tried both the drivers supplied on disc and the ones on the website (even though they may actually be the same, not sure) however the fact I hear the squeak/squeal before windows is even loaded should indicate it isn't a driver issue.

Also tried both updating and rolling back the bios.

I'll just see about getting it RMA'd I think, really does seem to be a hardware issue which is a shame.

Thank you for your help though, much appreciated.
