Morning guys, need a little help with this board.
I've just picked one up for a build for my old man, i know it's a little old now, but it presents with some great features which i'd like to utilise.
One of those is the mPCIe WiFi ability it has.
Obviously the card is no problem, and i suspect the cables and mini coax sockets for the rear would be easy to pick up off ebay or something, but, it's how to mount them i am not sure of.
The I/O shield has three positions prepared for them, but i see no way of mounting them, as the I/O shield is obviously fairly flimsy, so figured it was not just a case of screwing them to that, and there is no bracket supplied in the box, nor do i see where i could mount one, do i just put a reinforcing plate there or something on the back ?
does anyone have any knowledge of how to fit a WiFi card antenna sockets to this board an utilise these cut-outs in the I/O shield?
i've looked on their site and don't see any accessory kit or anything, so i'm hoping someone will have seen this done before
Here's some pics of the item/area in question, the screw hole is the standard board mounting point,
