Impressive that ASRock are going to be putting this out with an existing chipset. They seem to have one of the most innovative R&D teams of any of the main motherboard manufacturers.

Now if they can just figure out how to get Bulldozer supported on existing motherboards with a simple BIOS update...

Edit: My title is misleading. It appears that this is more of a leak than an announcement.

Is this actually feasable?

I would love it if it was. Will be a shame to ditch my Crosshair IV so soon.

I don't think so. Everything AMD has put out in the last few months suggests otherwise.

Although, having just swapped a motherboard for the first time under Windows 7, it's not the hassle it once was.

If it's always as easy as I've just experienced, swapping a motherboard is barely more troublesome than swapping a graphics card or CPU, as long as you've got a retail copy of Windows.

Unless any of the bulldozer chips offer better bang for buck in games than my £30 3.4GHz Phenom FX-5200 I'll be sitting tight for a while
