Wrong (again), there has never been a charge for rape.
Right, there's been no charge for rape because he hid in an embassy specifically to avoid being charged. The Swedish system required another step before formal charge, which he avoided by hiding in the embassy. The only actual thing he has avoided by hiding in the embassy is a fair trial for rape.
He sought asylum as he was worried Sweden would extradite to the US. The argument from people (quite possibly you too) was that Sweden don't extradite to the US. Then it was proven that Sweden does extradite to the US (in fact in nearly every case they did so)
Maybe he's dumb enough that makes sense in his addled little brain, but no-one else should give it credence. Firstly, it would have been easier to extradite him from the UK than pretty much anywhere else, if he was so scared what was he doing here? Secondly, getting extradited to Sweden actually protects him, because a secondary extradition requires agreement from both countries - in this case the UK and Sweden.
So some rules don't apply... But others do... Sounds quite arbitrary that Jack, but from someone wrong twice in one post I expect nothing less
He is welcome to make an application to the UK courts under the Human Rights Act, and it is for them to decide not he Working Group. Does that difference between legally binding and not escape you?
