Hello my pc.
9700K stock 50C in game
32GB DDR4
2080 Ti Waterforce Xtreme
750 W Seasonic
1TB CRUCIAL

Playing Assassin Creed Odyssey during Athens i have fluctuating gpu load from 75% to 93%.
I have found some gameplay with user with the same spec, and he have stable 95%. Any ideas why i have that drops?
Windows10 is updated also no other programs in background.

Can somebody maybe test with 2080 ti and 9900k/9700k?

Link doesn't work, fixed it for you.

Look at your CPU load, that's all 8 threads running at 100%, in this instances the CPU can't give any more, it can't keep up with the GPU so the GPU load reduces and with that performance drops.

This is why i don't rate the 9700K. 8 measly threads... You need more CPU...

I had previously pc with 9900K and the same situation. Its not because i have 9700K.

Why did you down grade like that?

Look at your CPU threads, you have 8 of them and they are all completely saturated, the CPU can do no more the feed the Graphics Card and that's causing it to stall.

The only advice i can give you is shut down anything running in the background that you don't need, that 'can' reduce the load on the CPU, are you using the CPU for recording or streaming? That will put a high load on it...

What about viruses?

no viruses other programs closed, onlyMSI AFTERBURNER witH RTSS fps. Maybe i try close MSI AF. But like i said i had on previously pc with 9900K and 2080 ti the same drops.
When i close UPLAY during game all is fine no drops. But sometimes i had freezes for 1 second, because UPLAY is closed. UPLAY is 10% of cpu usage.

Is any way to reduce UPLAY usage during game?

UPlay... good grief, that 10% should make a difference and it seems it does, there is nothing you can do to reduce UPlay's load on the CPU, if you can play the game without UPlay running do that, launch the game and immediately close UPlay.

Yeap i resolved issue with gpu load:). Just running game from shortcut in desktop ( not directly from uplay ). Usage is acceptable. UPLAY is only in background.

Any ideas why i have cpu usage high and fps drops with opened of uplay window?
