Assassin's Creed 2 draw distance/fov?

Anyone here know how to make it larger? i've noticed some npc pop-ups at not so far distance and same with some textures/shadows.

Other than this the game is brilliant but would be nice to alter it, anyone know?

I've noticed this too,albeit on a more modest spec than yours,[email protected] and ATI 5850. Also framerate for me seems to be capped at 63 despite vsync being disabled,are you finding the same or is it an ATI thing? Even in game menus top out at 63.
