Hi guy's I know Syndicate is out and I'm enjoying playing it but I never got to play Black Flag on a PC and it was my favorite by far, so my question is...

Has anyone here played it and was it any good? thinking of downloading it just to give a try but if it's not worth it then I'll stick with the memories of it on Xbox.:D

I am pretty sure it will be the same game but with unlocked frames and better graphics.

I played it on pc, it is the only Assassins Creed I have liked.

Cheers guy's, loved it on xbox and just wanted to get to see the "full" detail and enjoy it again as something to play when I feel a little bit on the bored side of Syndicate. Thanks again.

I does look nicer on the PC at full settings, personally I felt it was second best only to the first, and that was simply due to the first being original...

IV Black Flag is without a doubt the best one yet ! The fact you can build up a battle ship and sail the oceans and go on islands without a loading screen is pure brilliant ! ..... I still play it a lot now and still haven't completed it, its a fantastic game and if you can play it on ultra settings it looks gorgeous

The thing with Black Flag is, it's two games. On the sea, it's great fun. They really nailed the battleship warfare. On the land it just reverts back to boring stealth assassin's creed gameplay with no combat mechanics.

Yeah I tend to agree with you on the game is very much in two parts! Syndicate isn't so bad but would be nice to see another game along the lines of black flag.

Just installed it a couple hours ago and it's good to get away from BF4, Syndicate and Fallout.

Brilliant game, naval battles are the best ever, once you upgrade the hull armour & cannons etc you can tackle the four 'Legendary' ships which are the hardest to sink.
An equally good follow up game called AC Rogue continues in the same way with epic sea battles & towns to capture, gangs to take over etc

Don't forget to try out Assassin's Creed: Rogue - only £9.99 now.

Same as Black Flag, focussing on naval warfare and open maps, but missions seem more varied. I've not had a 'follow' one yet. Looks great, few new weapons and ship modifications.

AC Rogue has a N. Atlantic area to explore and you can aim cannon at an iceberg to cause a mini sunami to swamp nearby enemy ships :D

I was really enjoying it, but lost my save game at around 68% and couldn't be bothered to start over or find a savegame similar (I had done a lot of the side quests but only half the main story)
