The guys over at exophase have released rumoured specs for Assassin's Creed.

Recommended System Requirements:
* Intel Pentium Core 2 Duo, or better processor
* 3 GB System RAM
* ATI HD2900 series, Nvidia GeForce 8800 series, or better video card
* 5.1 sound card
* Microsoft Xbox 360 controller

These include a whopping 8800, 3gb of RAM and a 360 controller for recommendedspecs. Following Rainbow Six Vegas, could this be another un-optimised port from Ubisoft?

Sounds like total rubbish, the architecture of the 360 is not that* much different to the PC, so unless they have made major changes to the levels (joining some together or what not) I call shenanigans. :) No game uses 3GB RAM*.

*afaik, but I could be wrong.

I find it hard to believe. Why would the PC version need 3GB when the 360 version can cope with less than a third of that!?

I love the way PC gamers are being coerced into shelving the KB and mouse for a 360 pad, as if it's the next de facto evolutionary standard in gaming.

Valve tried with all their HL2 EP2 videos, now it looks like Ubisoft might have joined said bandwagon.

Thats BS specs tbh. it'll be like 7800 or something unless its so crappy port its going to run crappy on our systems.

Seeing as this game is pretty much the successor to the Prince of Persia games (PC version kb/mouse controls in PoP were quite sloppy compared to joypad), I stand by what I said.
