Assassin's Creed Syndicate thread.

I hate the AC games and only own this because I bought a new GPU... but I've been pleasantly surprised with this one. Quite enjoying it, and the performance is much better than Unity.

Credit to Ubisoft for a change. Maybe the Steam refund policy is making a difference to Dev approach?

The Ubisoft games always get added to my Ubisoft account not Steam, not sure if they have a refund policy. But refund policies would defo have a massive effect on quality control of games for the PC.

Steam is so much better because of it, but buy most my keys from cdkeys.com, not sure if steam refunds external codes?

I'll pick up the season pass if I can find it cheap. Love the game, and the dlc looks good. I do wish it was integrated in to the game though, as apposed to standalone.

Nearly completed the story now and I don't want it to end!

Completely blown away by the game. Considering I would give AC3 and Black Flag 6/10 this is an incredible return to form. The gameplay is so good, and greatly improved from previous games... This is where I was hoping the series would get to after playing AC2!

I've just spent a while sneaking through Buckingham Palace stealing stuff (just in free roam) and it is really top quality stealth gameplay.

It is a shame that many people probably won't give this a chance based on previous games. It looks and runs like a dream as well.

Just finished this, a really top AC. I'm glad they've returned to doing the modern day side of the story as well (that was basically ignored in Black Flag and Unity) The glimpses of modern day in this were short but sweet. A modern day AC has to happen at some point right?

I hate the modern day parts, to my mind it adds nothing & detracts from the total immersion in the game.

More like Unity mate, no AC game can touch Black Flag IMO, that was a masterpiece.

Agreed, Black Flag had something amazing about it that kept me wanting to play it. The setting alone was spectacular.

Syndicate is by no means a bad game, though. Looks and runs very good but I just don't have the time to sink into it ATM. Too many games to finish:p

ive played AC1 is was terrible, didnt return until Black Flag/Pirate simulator it was really Fun.

Might have to try this out just because its in London :)
