Assassin's Creed Unity

Just saw it on Neogaf and its part of some AC companion website - just incredulous to have something like that when you pumping out crap like AC:U

Theres a bigger issue regards the contempt of the gaming industry of its customers and the stain that gaming inherently is a disvalued product/hobby behind all this, but this isnt the thread to discuss that

It was soulless. The core mechanics were good but greatly overused, and the storyline/characters were just abysmal and didn't really add anything to the game. It felt like they'd had this amazing concept for a game then tried (badly) to write a storyline and script around it.

Hopefully Aiden Pearce isn't in the sequel because he's utterly boring.
 
I went for Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry on PS4 instead, looks like a better game and only £4.79 on PSN with PS+.

Managed to get this for $40 (20 quid in normal money) by buying the download codes from the console bundle for $70 on TradeMe (NZ version of eBay) and selling the Black Flag one for $30.

For that price I figure it is worth a punt, I'll let you know how I get on once the near 40gb download completes!

I'll give you that, Aiden Pearce did my head in, but I loved the game. Maybe I'm just easily pleased.

I liked it, I sometimes think I'm easily pleased, I liked the cod aw campaign and I even enjoyed battlefield 3 single player campaign..

But I do draw the line at ropey performance , but to be now fair to Ubisoft they have acknowledged the issues and say they'll work on fixing this mess...
 
Well I have some sort of collectors edition arriving today, but will not be able to play until Christmas. By then most issues I am hoping will be patched.
