Assassins Creed Valhalla Bench Thread

Less talk more benchmarks please folks.
Here you go:

Driver: 20.11.3

Maybe oc'd 6800xt can beat oc'd rtx 3080 without SAM. But with sam oc'd 6800xt can easily beat ln2'd 3090. This is why i said it is not fair to benc/compete.

Going to be some games AMD does better at, others Nvidia, this one as others mentioned looks to be one that AMD is better at simply put. Looks to be the case even without SAM.

That said now that you mentioned SAM, if could be a good idea to segment SAM enabled results and those without? can compare the uplift with and without and more so when Nvidia does there version of it.

Well aware plenty of games may support addressable bar. I am talking about, when people post there results here really or I suppose in any benchmark, could be good when posting your stats just say if Addressable Bar / SAM was enabled or not given some GPUs / platform combos will be able to use it, others not. Same person can then post there numbers with and without addressable bar. Would add some interesting detail IMO. But not my thread so will as OP sugget, less talk more benchmark's! :)

Please can you provide the GPU memory clocks? I will assume 2150Mhz.
Here's mine.

1440p. PBO on CPU and overclocked ram.

Nvidia drivers 461.40.

Hate to break it to you but SAM/BAR is a couple of FPS difference, so I would not expect drastic changes to performance good or bad. I doubt you will even notice if its on or off. ;)

Is this for SAMBAR in general, are you claiming AMD's advantage from the press release is actually a damp squib? :)

Serious question here as it would involve BIOS updates and faffing, so would have to warrant >1% for me to bother with the hassle..

I think it only ever showed a couple of FPS, that's not to say it couldn't improve in the future am sure it will.

It's a nice to have rather than a must have atm.

Agree mate, it was in them slides massaging the 10% figure so maybe that is best case but I was hoping as it is vendor agnostic the feature was actually useful for free performance. As ever will wait for some real world figures but would be nice to use the VRAM thats available. :)
There were a couple of games that showed double digit gains, but once you average it out over many games its a few fps. Welcome to product marketing. ;)

:) As you can see from my results I did not fall for that! :p

2160p
3090FE @1830/9751
460.89

If you run the test again but use Exclusive full screen mode and not borderless mode you might get a better score.

What CPU are you using?
Can you check the memory frequency? It's different to Radox's submission.

Scoreboard updated. :)
