Assemble loop inside or outside case

Is it generally better to put my parts in my case, then add tubing, or add the tubing outside and put it in the case as a single connected unit?

This was my thinking but a lot of online guides talk about assembling and testing the loop unconnected, and then putting it into the pc after, My idea was build the pc with the parts as it will be when finished, then tube and test it.

Yeah I will be getting a jumper for that. Slightly worried about getting the pipes secure in the compression fittings wile trying to work around my mobo in the case but that will be an adventure I suppose.
