Great, i think we'll get a few people. Will look into a server host for AC.
Have you guys thought of joining an existing league? There are some out there where driving standards are pretty darn good. If you're not careful you thin the drivers out too much and have quiet races.
I've thought about it but I quite fancy something a little less serious. A lot of the leagues seem very competitive and I thought it would be nice to have an OcUK one where there'll probably be varying levels of sim racing experience and ability.
Check the link in my sig. While we do run competitive events, we have drivers at all levels, so you'll always have someone to race with.
We're a friendly bunch and have a dedicated team speak channel which usually provides a good bit of banter during practice sessions (quieten down for qually/race though).
We have rules and a code of conduct that needs to be followed, but we actively try to avoid the ultra serious, hardcore league vibe that tends to put a lot of people off racing leagues. After all, we do this because it's supposed to be fun, right?
If you don't want to commit to a series, there's also a casual racing club where you can organise on-off events (or time trials etc) that can be as fun or serious as you want them to be.
Feel free to look aroundIf enough of you guys are interested and don't want to run in a series, I might be persuaded to set up a little OcUK section and run a dedicated server for you. That way, you can have a casual spot that's a little better organised than a single thread on here.
