so not really worth it, another question would going for a thicker tube make any difference

for me i'd invert as i like to see the pretty fans spin hahaha

thicker tubing looks nicer but bend radius gets gets bigger ! also - each vendors barbs/compression fittings port size are slightly different. There thread is G1/4 so they fit in every block/radiator/res but the bore hole maybe smaller .

anothing above 10mm Inner diameter tubing wont make a different as Bard/compression is the bottle neck, anything smaller then tube is . but again, very minor things. 13/10mm is one of the most common sizes used

Watercooling is not hassle free, it`s not set it and forget it, if you cant do it yourself you are better off using air, since every time you need something changed or upgraded you need to find someone to do it for you. And considering its mostly for the looks these days, i`d say save yourself the hassle and stick to air.
