Hello peoples.

I have just started up running again, taking it slow after a ligament damage to my ankle a few months ago. The ligament damage is fine now, manage to play football every week on it.

Anyway... I went for a run tonight for the first time in months and about half way in I got a sharp shooting pain in both feet. Has anyone else here had this before? Trying to figure out why I got it/ what was the cause. I thought it may have been my running shoes but I never got the pain before. Other reasons I thought were just the lack of running or I had tied my shoe laces too tight.

Anybody able to help shed some light, I know it is difficult because you are no there running with me but someone must have some information (hopefully)

(Note: I do not really class this as a medical thread as I am not asking for advice on medication and such. If it is classed as a medical thread then just let me know please!)

Whether it's intended as a medical thread or not, the only advice anyone can really give is to go see your doctor. :)

I'm afraid it probably does count as a medical thread so the advice to go see your doctor is the most sensible one. A physiotherapist may subsequently be recommended but the doctor is a first option. Good luck in getting it sorted.
