For whatever reason, I can't seem to associate Media Player Classic with video files in my installation of Vista.
I right-click on a video file, chose "Open With", select the mplayerc.exe file from the relevant directory, and it doesn't ever appear in the list of applications. I've also tried via the File Types section in Folder properties, with the same end result.
Am I doing something incredibly stupid, or is Vista? (Given that this is how I've done it in all other operating systems to this point in time!)
It's rather annoying having to remember to open MPC first, then drag & drop a file into it, rather than just browsing for the file and double-clicking!!
Cheers!
Garry
