Hi guys, just a quick question - my car has a lot of white smoke, more so since the engine rebuild (the alt belt snapped and went straight into the engine costing a lot to repair). The smoke is white but is only on start up - problem is theres lots of it and smells slightly oily. It is fine once started.
Now could it be the thermostat running the car too rich (as i have noticed that the car temp guage never goes above 1/4) or could it be the glow plugs? Has anyone got any ideas?
