hey all, I'm looking to spend a bit of money on a decent wireless headset. im stuck between these 2. I like the the fact you can take the mic off the head set on the Recon3D.

anyone used these or got an other suggestions?

Also like to say I'm not looking for high fidelity headphones as i have a pair of AKG K702's that i run though my Hi-Fi setup when i want to listen to some nice HQ music.

cheers

Logitech G430 is an amazing headset for the money £70

its wired but its worth it because of the massive soundstage in surround. it uses dolby headphone 7.1 from a small usb adapter but for some reason its better than any other dolby headphone software found on soundcards.

i did a few comparisons plugging them in to soundcards and the "surround" on them was more like stereo, logitech also now owns Ultimate ears and they have used the experience in these headphones so they sound great with music.

not exactly what your looking for but they are too good to not mention.

hey cheers for pointing them out , really im looking for wireless, however do you think the logitech G930's would be as good as the G430's dolby 7.1 as you say its very good?

been looking at the soundblaster evo ZxR as well, I'm liking the fact the don't have mic boom and get released this month i think so might see how the reviews are. However I'm still unclear about how you would connect them wireless to my pc if i don't have bluetooth on my mobo. Anyone know?

was looking around on user reviews about the G930's seems to be a fair few bad user reviews about them usually about disconnecting and popping noises. so going to rule them out. nvm...

I use the A50's if you have any questions around them;

I find them very good, really comfy for long sessions and a good all round headphone (I use it for music and gaming).
