I got a really cheap monitor from fleabay when mine got taken back and it's so bad, it looks terrible, it's almost impossible to play games on and i was flicking through B Grade and saw this,

YOUR BASKET
1 x Asus VX24AH 24" Widescreen Professional/Gaming LED Zero Frame Monitor - Black £299.99
Total : £309.59 (includes shipping : £8.00).

Is it worth that bad to be £210? i'd like a 1440p screen but i mainly game so would it be better to wait it out and either get a 144hz 1080p monitor or a better 1440p monitor?

It's also got a really slim bezel so i'd it would be nice to have two of them next to each other

I really wish G-sync wasn't so expensive. Freesync would do just fine if AMD could hurry up and release their 3xx series so I know whether to stay team green with a 970 or go red with a 380x/390 or whatever they end up calling it! Worst time to be choosing a monitor :(

I won't be going to Nvidia as the only thing really worth going for at the moment is the Titan X for 1440p. I don't like the 980 for double the price of my 290x. I'm just going to wait it out for the 390x.

The 290x is doing more than enough for me at the moment, i've never been happier with a card/drivers.
