Asus 3090 PSU cable question

Hi,

I've recently built a PC for my brother and noticed the GFX card takes 8-8-8 PCIe cables. It currently looks awful with so many cables connected and I'm looking at the braided set by Corsair.

Would the following cable set up work as shown in the image below? Currently I've connected them with 3x PCIe Dual cables that works fine, but as mentioned it's awful to look at.

1x PCIe Dual cable
1x PCIe Single cable

Thanks

edit: Asking this because I'm not sure if I need to purchase an additional Sleeved 8pin PCIe Power Cable on top of the Corsair Kit

It’ll work as long as you’re not doing extreme overclocking of your GPU and CPU together.

2 8 pin connectors will be enough to power the card, the 3rd 8 pin will be drawing barely any current.

I ran my 2080Ti with 1 8 pin cable and another cable (8 pin + 8 pin) without issues.

leave it as it is and load up GPUz and see what each 8 pin is drawing in terms of power and current in your OC and gaming state. it should be fairely evenly distributed but if 2 of the 8 pins get more current than the last one, the last one can be at the end of the daisy chain. also total wattage from the combined PCIE shouldn't exceed 280w or 23A
