ASUS is releasing it's own version of the Radeon HD 5770 labeled with Cucore. The Cucore is equipped with a self designed cooler and custom PCB.

ASUS apparently used a lot more copper in the PCB and cooler base plate with the result of 11& better cooling. Unfortunately the clock frequencies remain the same at 850 MHz for the core and 4800 MHz on the GDDR5 memory. Connectivity wise you will spot a HDMI, DVI and D-Sub connector.

ASUS delivers the product with smart Docter software which allows a little voltage tweaking as well.

Nice, this has the core over to the right.

You could fit an arctic silencer S1 to this card.

Single crossfire finger = no tri crossfire.

Reduced number of output connectors too, looks like vga/dvi/hdmi(or is it dp) instead of 2dvi/hdmi/dp. Guessing we'll see these 5770s sub £100 within a month or 2.

why does it have to look nice ?

as long as it does what it's ment to then look's are not a problem is it ?

im certain i don't look at my card when i play cod 4.

I couldn't give a **** what it looked like tbh. I have no case window, and even if I did I wouldn't really be looking at it. If this allows better 3rd party heatsinks to fit that can't be a bad thing. They look a bit cramped in SLI with the new style coolers.

yea , they do actually 2 a point. ive kinda got ocd, and it comes out into my case lol. Ive got a Ati 5850 which is red and black with a HAF 932 Case, and my mobo Dim Slots match my colour combo:D , it does look rather good.
ill post a pic up:)

Looks awful, and why DSUB? what's the point?

I'll stick with my Sapphire reference designed cards with their dual DVI, Display Port and HDMI.
