Asus 6950 DrectCU II quick question

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-254-AS

Card above. Speck states it requires 1x6pin and 1x8pin power connectors. would 2 6pin connectors do the job until I upgrade my PSU?

Was actually going to go for the MSI freesrIII version but this card makes me a little horny with its today only price

You could, however i think it comes with a molex to 8 pin so use that. Otherwise, as huddy says, they only cost a few quid.

I would get the MSI as IMO, the cooler is better and it is only dual slot whilst his is triple

Cheers guys. the 3 slot height is a little off putting but for the sole reason that I would never be able to crossfire this with another :S (mobo is fine, my primary PCIe are 4 apart but I only have 2 pci brackets under the second lol

Damn it I need to think on this!

I would go for the MSI. better cooler IMO and better RMA. UK RMA aswell IIRC and Asus are apparently crap with gfx returns

You know what... Asus are crap with RMA returns. How could I forget my 3 month wait to have my x800xl replaced OR giving up trying to replace my x800xt with the nonseical broken english email replies. MSI can have my money.
