Hi guys quick question i am ready to make my purchase today on 7970 cards but wanted to find witch website had the most support drivers ect.
i decided asus msi and sapphire to be some of the best.
however i wanted to originally go for ASUS, because i have has asus mobo's in the past so i know there good for quality but also found that ASUS is in one of the seceletive partners with AMD .
However heres the other factor im after a black PCB board i see sapphire has one but im not sure if they have a bios switch on the video card.
Iknow the ASUS do have one but all pictures inc overclockers seem to show a red pcb untill last night when i saw a unboxing video showed a black so im confused.

anyone here with a ASUS 7970 tell me if the pcb is black or red thankyou very much.

AWSOME stuff cheers. yes i see the 2 DirectCU but i cant find anywere that sell them here in the UK,
you did show me the normal asus refrence card this is the one i can get hold of but some sites sell it shown as a red pcb YET ive seen it to have black.?
If the normal asus are red what do you think aboute the sapphire.

Ask in the customer services section? they may give you a complete and straight answer to what colour PCB is on certain cards in stock.

yeh im gonna do that as i type m8. update UNFORTUNATLY STILL ON HOLD MY BATTERY IS DIYING, shame so i will try again first thing i have found out if true or not from scan that the sapphire has no bios switch. so thats not good news.
