Asus 990FX R2 beep code and response?

Just to add one more thing to this, I've also noticed that the red cpu indicator light comes on very very briefly at boot. It doesn't stay on though. Can I take that to assume the cpu is ok?

It's supposed to do that, cpu should be fine. Red light only stays on if there is an issue.
