ASUS A7N8X deluxe "system fails cpu test" vocal post all the time HELP Please

I was running a the above board with a 2800xp chip that was clocked to 3200xp, and a 9800xt card with 2gig of mushkin ram, ran it for ages no probs. Then all of a sudden when I started to play any game the vocal post of "system fails cpu test" would happen, every 2 seconds.

I tried everything even disabling it in my BIOS, but it was still there.

Eventually I thought that I must have cooked the chip, I managed to find a 3200xp new which I fitted on saturday. It went fine and the problem had gone, until today. I had also decide to upgrade my graphics card to a 6800gs 512mb, that arrived this morning, I fitted it to the letter with the manual, and now the system failed cpu test vocal post is back, except now it's worse, it's all the time.

What can be making it do this? The temp is fine only 29deg and it seems to be in the board well enough. I have only got a 400w PSU could it be that running out of steam?

Any Ideas seem to be banging my head against a brick wall

There was a problem with this occurring at boot with older BIOS's...
Have you tried updating the BIOS to the latest version?

Also, in the BIOS there are 2 options for the vocal thing - Have you disabled both?

Asides from that, re-recording over them with a blank WAV file would be a workaround.
Bit of a nasty workaround, but would do the job.
(The software to do this comes with your Mobo)

I never had this issue once booted.
