Asus A8N-E nForce4 Ultra (Socket 939) help

im sorry if i should have put this in my other thread but ive seen a few reports on people having probs with this board and ati cards with freezing in games. does anyone have this board and a ati card.and overclockers havent sent my order yet so if there is problems would i be able to change it before they send it out on monday thanks for any info.

No problems with mine. A8N-E and X850XT and never experienced any issues....touch wood.

Probably best to contact the shop directly about your order question though. Though it'll be a bit late now as they aren't open sundays iirc.

cheers Six6siX just a few more questions if you dont mind m8.ive ordered a 4600 x2 will it boot with this cpu so i can flash the bios to the latest one that supports dual cpu and is it picky with what ram you use.i.e 2gb of corsair value ram cheers m8

Shoud be fine with tha CPU, according to the ASUS website. The X2 4600+ has been supported since BIOS 1004. My board shipped with BIOS 1008 back in feb/march time.

I'm using the 2GB OCUK RAM (Nanya i think it is) and had no problems, so I reckon the Corsair stuff will be fine too.
