According to the manual, Q-Fan changes the speed of the CPU and CHA1 connected fans according to the CPU temperature. CPU fan changes but the CHA1 fan always stays on full blast. I'm pretty certain it can do different speeds , it's a Vantec Stealth 120mm.

There's also a side issue that the chipset fan is meant to change it's speed in sync with the CPU fan but I've never known that to change either.

Anyone been able to get this working?

Found an answer, looks like the CHA1 fan doesn't come off 100% till the motherboard goes below 35C. Since mine is always 40C+...

Link is to a bug list for the A8N32-SLI, might be useful for others searching these forums with the same issue...

Apparently a BIOS update will fix this at some point, in the mean time best to use Speed Fan.
