Hi all!
This morning my computer failed to turn on. I opened the system up to find that the PSU was making a constant squeeling sound. I thought immediately it was a faulty PSU. I changed the PSU for my Zalman PSU that works perfectly and i still can not get the computer to power up. The green l.e.d. on the board is lit for about 30 seconds then it starts flashing rapidly.
Any ideas what causes this rapid flashing?
After a few google searches i have noted a few people saying the board has gone into sleep mode possibly?? or the power supply is overloading the board? I definitely cant see it being the switch on the case.
The specs are:
amd 64+ 3000 socket 939
the board mentioned above
antec 450W PSU (broken as mentioned earlier)
zalman 400W silent PSU
pioneer dvdrw 111
seagate 80GB ATA
HIS ATI x300 64MB
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
